    Now only the elite of the elitists will be able to slay the mighty A ranks while everyone else complains that it was pulled too early because their mount moves like molasses.

    they were talking about ground mounts, didn't they? flying is likely still the fastest way to travel, but ground mounts not completely useless anymore.

    Depending on how it's implemented it may mean that those using, for example, the Laurel Goobbue (a currently non-flying or swimming mount) will be able to run faster than someone on a Kirin mount (which can fly). This could introduce an interesting meta of needing to carefully choose your mount for things like Hunts in 2.x areas. I can smell the salty air already. XD
