Botany from 30-60 fast leveling help!

So, I'm like to set a few goals before the expansion. One of them is getting Botany, which for me is 30, all the way to 60.

I have maybe a million gil to spare if it'll help buying stuff, and I have max level allowances since I haven't used any in ages.

My goal is hopefully doing this in two weeks, is that doable? If so, anyone know how? I've seen a guild about, but I can't make heads or tails of it. If I can do this in 2 weeks, how many hours about each day? I don't wanna push myself too hard for this one goal.

So yeah, any walkthroughs, tips, help or a flat out step-by-step guide would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

With the buff to gathering experience or something not long ago, you can probably smash through pretty fast. I know personally I jumped from 45 to 50 in just a few hours, when previously 5 level jumps took me much longer.
Quickest/easiest way, I think, would be hitting the leves with the evaluation bonuses, usually fairly easy to hit the +25% if you're geared well (plus the speed bonus if you clear under 5 minutes, also not hard).

Can't really speak much for 50+, but can't imagine it's too much different?

First thing is do your GC turn in daily, and make sure its HQ. Thats 1/4-1/2+ a level daily. But make sure its the first gathering thing you do in a day. The turn-in is set when the day rolls over, so any extra levels you get before you do the turn in will result in you getting less reward for it as you can potentially out-level it. After that, you get 6 leve allowances daily(3 per 12 hours) so use at least that many so your allowances dont get wasted by being capped. Focus on the evaluation ones as much as you can, as they easily give the most exp. If your gear is good enough, always do them at the highest level you can for the increased reward. And be pro-active about switching zones. When you outlevel the costa del sol leves dont hang around doing more, just move right on to the observatorium ones. Use your bonus exp. That means rested, that means training manuals, that means FC bonus, that means food. Use it all if you can.

So to your goal. Three weeks is for sure doable. If you use bonus exp, daily hq turn ins, and a lot of the 184 leve allowancess youll have(100 cap plus 6 per day over 14 days) you should easily be able to finish in less then 2 weeks. As for how long, 6 leves daily is less then 1 hour in the field(i would estimate 40 mins). Personally i would try to gather my own HQ turn ins, but if theyre cheap enough you can certainly buy them. If you gather, figure another 5-10 mins. So thats potentially an hour daily to set aside. However, it might not be a bad idea to chop this up into segments. Do 5 or so levels per day until you get to 50(none of these should really take more then an hour or two), then you can do 1 level per day of 50-60 with the GC turn in doing a lot of the work and some fill-in leves to finish it off.

Edit: And dont forget your class quests. Exp is exp, and you can look up the quests in advance to know what theyll ask for and pre-gather it when you have spare time.

For 50/51 up to 60, forget Leves. They can help, but are not as good as Collectibles. Just make sure that you get gear that lets you have 600 GP and a decent amount of Perception (to reduce the number of Appraisals needed to hit minimum Collectability). Focus on getting the most Collectibles at just above the minimum Collectability rating; 3 Collectibles at 60k each is better than 2 Collectibles at 66k each.

You can definitely do it. I did 28 to 60 on Fisher in 6 days, starting last Saturday.

One thing: if you have another DoH at 58+, you can pick up Commercial Survival Manuals for 75 Blue Scrip at the Scrip Exchange vendors at Idylshire and Mordona. +150% XP for one hour, up to 300,000 total bonus XP. I burned through quite a few. You also get three from the first Heavensward class quest (after all the ARR class quests are done) but there's no need to wait until then.

I did do leves even after 50 on my Fisher, but Fisher is entirely different from Miner and Botanist in how you get collectables and in how leves work, so your mileage may vary.

Those things go great with leves. You get a cluster of nodes, with 6 swings each, that give more base exp than normal items of the same level. You end up getting more exp gathering the items than you do for the final reward.

I was just refering to eating any food. All food gives you a small bonus to exp earned. If you want a recommendation for what to use, id find a cheap vendor food that gives a few extra points of gp or perception.

And OMG how did i forget collectables? Clearly i wasnt as with it as i thought i was. Those are a great boost once you get into the 50 range.

Use food to cover your deficiencies. Need GPs? GP food. Ect.

All food has those bonuses to EXP.

And if you have a squadron, Squadron Engineering and Survival Manuals are +20% EXPs for two hours, no cap on EXPs.
