Say whatever else you want about xi but the armor design is pretty amazing, i love how detailed they got with everything and how form fitted it was and how it always showed that yes you do still have hair under there unless the gear specifically covered that, and it pretty much never clipped. I especially loved hats on tarutaru characters (and especially the tactician magician styled hat, i was so disappointed by ffxivs hats.. seriously lalas should be able to rock hats as hard as tarus did it's a crime against nature that all the hats for the most part are so.. ick)

I also love the more "tribal" gear they added in that looks amazing on mithra who are supposed to be tribal hunters by tradition and showed up in wings of the goddess wearing hides and sporting tribal tattoos, fang-accessories, beads and feathers and pretty much dominated the battlefield (still questioning how "traditional miqo'te garb" worn by a group that were originally hunters here too translates in to a skirt with thigh-highs, i was so thankful to find the skyhunter set and the tribal-esque glamor sets)
