Lightning TT card availability

For two of my characters, Lightning is the only one who I never get from the Platinum packs. I somehow got the other 5-stars at least twice from said packs.

RNG is a fickle mistress indeed.

I got crazy lucky with the tournament and got it from a platinum pack for participating on the first day of Making it rain this year.

I had no idea it was this rare.

So i havent played in a tournament in over a year, as i got the last of my cards and promptly stopped investing the time. Its possible the rules have changed since then and im not aware of it. With that said, dont the tournaments last a week? So you cant "miss out" on a tourney. If what you meant to say was "i have a hard time scoring well because less players que for tournament matches at the times that i play", then i can offer a few suggestions. I think they set those ques as cross-server, same as any other DF content so just because you dont see anyone from your server sitting there doesnt mean you cant get a match or two in. Also, i know you used to get more points for playing against someone on the tournament leaderboard. Well at the start of each tournament a few of those NPCs are on the board, so if you can find a way to get your tournament matches in early youll score a bit more. Might not be enough to win, but every extra pack is one less until you get the one with your Lightning(or whichever card ends up being the last one someone chases - Cecil for me).
