Eternity Ring gone

NPC name: Sanctum Acolyte
Class/Level: Black Mage level 60
Party or solo: i was in a light party at that time
In-game time: not sure anymore sometime between 20:30 and 20:45 GMT+1 real time
Area and coordinates: East Shroud X: 17 Y: 18
Steps:
1. Talked to the Sanctum Acolyte to annul my previous eternal bond. He took my eternity ring but my eternal bond was not annulled it seems.
2. Talk to Sanctum Acolyte again to hold another ceremony. He says that i have to annul my previous one to do this.
3. I choose the option to "Annul an existing eternal bond" again, just for the NPC to say: "Could not annul eternal bond. Your eternity ring is not in your inventory."

I did an /isearch Eternity and it does not show up anywhere anymore.



Can you cancel my eternal bond somehow?

It isn't the first time I've heard someone say this has happened. It must be a bug. I hope you are able to get it sorted.

Apparently the NPC text is very misleading. The Bond was actually annulled, but the NPC still kept saying that. So for everyone else who got that problem, ignore the NPC text you should be able to do the quest again.
