I was going to point out that word of god has confirmed that the Au Ra are not genetically related to dragons, but then it occurred to me that you might mean that that First Brood pair might have ended up in the Au Ra homeland, and become the basis for their Dusk Mother and Dawn Father, which is a very interesting thought. I don't suppose we have any idea what color Azdeja and Vritra were, or what they looked like?

It's worth noting in relation to this that the Allagan history part of the lore book makes multiple references to Bahamut by the epithet "the dawn wyrm" and Tiamat "the dusk wyrm". There's absolutely no historical basis as far as I know for Bahamut & Tiamat ever having visited Othard, nor for the Au Ra having been to or even come from Meracydia (and also the Auri creation myth explicitly names their father and mother Azim and Nhaama respectively), but considering the dragons' relationship, the similarities are quite striking.

Pretty sure Tiamat is stuck in place forever. She's currently being used in a side quest where another dragon needs to talk to her for advice, and unless SE wants to design a new cutscene for that, it kinda relies on tiamat being chained in place there. Although she could be released in a side quest chain if it required the current side quest and MSQ flags being met I suppose.

Never forget the level 50 Culinarian quest with Zombie Nanamo. SE has to seriously consider the work of rewriting side quests if they significantly alter a MSQ character that appears in them......
Now I want to make a new character and see if Alisaie will wear her HW outfit for the coils if you finish MSQ before doing them ^^

Since the cutscene wasn't made with that gear, she will be in her old attire. Imagine it like... Any sidequests done in ARR now are back before HW, and any done in HW are before SB... So in essence you're going back in time to complete them, when in the lore of your character they were already done.

She chose to be chained but it could be nice to have an extra quest line (like Hildi for example) to make her realize that mistakes can be forgiven and that she could bring awarness about dealing with the pain and the ravages a Primal can bring.
She could be a fantastic teacher for little dragons and humans.
It could even be a way to make up for what she did, an even harder way because she would have to accept it and face beings like her instead of just slackin in chains

Something that irked me a little is that the dragons go on and on about how time is eternal and 'then' is as 'now' for them, and yet despite defending Nidhogg and his horde's rage for the betrayal of Man, Midgardsormr comments on how long it has been and asks if Tiamat will not finally forgive herself.

I'm sorry, I want her to have her freedom too but.... what is the difference here? ;_;

Whats shes doing is no different from those guys that whip themselves for their sins or those that PUT themselves in jail cause what they did was too much even for themselves. She feels that to repent for what she did is to be jailed for her crimes she brought upon the world and to her mate.

Even if it's not as long for dragons Bahamut's summoning did happen longer ago than Ratatoskyr's death. Look at it this way, it's:

"It's only been a couple of days since his sister was killed so Nidhogg is still pretty volatile."

Vs.

"Please Tiamat, you've not left this room in a week, you need to start forgiving yourself for what happened."
