I can see it being a interesting plot twist for MSQ at some point, like u arrive to save a town/outpost/village to only find 1 child as the sole survivor sure they stay with the Scion's but see u as their savior/caretaker, could see 1 MSQ cutsciene now:

Child 1: my dad/mom's better then u'rs!
U'r Kid: no way mines better!
Child 1: my dad/mom's 'random high class rich job'
U'r Kid: Mines the WoL! >.< so there

As for the pedophile concerns, most likely these children won't be something you can parade out in public, like minions. You'd only see them in private areas, like inns and such, where others can't see you. I'm not too concerned with what folks decide to do in private. If they get their jollies molesting their virtual child where no one can see it happening, that's fine by me.

I agree with you about. While they don't bother I don't care, but you said pedophile and child and do whatever they want in closed doors just cools wrong lol.

To be fair, I DID try to word it carefully. It's why I made certain to mention it was a VIRTUAL child. As in, not a real child. :P

Aaannd at that point, the child would be in danger.

Even though the adoption idea sounds sweet, it wouldn't work out due for these three reasons:
1) The Warrior of Light is always busy saving the world, they wouldn't have time for the poor child
2) The child will always be in danger since the WoL is their guardian/mommy/pappy
3) We may have some creepers within the playerbase...=_=
