Yeah. Alt Tab error. Happens whenever your PC wants your permission for anything.

There are band-aid cures, like I said. Most can't be said on these forums.

Want it to be effectively solved? Wait till 2.0.

Then anything that causes it to lose focus will make it crash such as UAC and other fullscreen programs

The only time I get DirectX crashes is when I CTRL+ALT+DEL to crash my game on purpose when I'm logging off, instead of going through the normal screens.

There are times "FINAL FANTASY XIV has stopped working," but I'm used to seeing "HL2.exe has stopped working." I just assumed a PC game was being a PC game.

I rarely have such issues. I can keep my pc on and running this game for days on end without any crashes.
