    Well why raise a topic that is irrelevant. When they released XIV, they said you didn't need to make multiple characters because of the armory system. You shouldn't have to make multiple characters, that's your own problem.

    The way the fees are presented is unsurprisingly convoluted (gg SE). I've read previous posts in this thread so I understand it now... At a glance, however, it appears they reduced the price from 12.99 to 9.99 and then once more to 6.99. At least these were my first confused and misled impressions... Also, 3$ per additional character is ludicrous. Is this their attempt to make up for the losses in reducing the base fee...?

    Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem like we'll be able to purchase extra retainers when the sub goes live?

    if so, coupled with the lack of a in-game delivery system, means any mule is gonna automatically double your subscription cost
