SE tends to be silly in their explanations, Dubont lol, I think they basically wanted people to know it's $3.00 per character so did it that way.

But basically it's 7.99$ a month on the 180 day payment to play the game with one character, which equals the price per 6 months that I quoted you a few posts back.

lol yeah I can understand, when they first brought up the payment types I had to think about it for a moment and go:: Ok is that 4.99 with (nah that seems too low) has to be 4.99 + the 3.00.

1) $29.94 + $3.00 (Char first 30 days) and then charge $3.00 ever month (remainder of the 180 days) OR
2) $29.94 + $18.00 ($3 for the 180 day period)?

The way I understand is it is 2. It is $4.99 + $3 a month, so $7.99 a month or $47.94 every 6 months, $95.88 a year.

Just look at the non-discounted services. It's the same thing as the discounted+char prices.
