so i am starting this treat because I wanted to bring up a point-
that the quickness they offer us isn't worth the time we wait for the next update.
First I don't speak English so excuse my English.
XIV offer us
Instant quick teleport
Instant Airship
Quick Chocobo run and infinite Chocobo ride
QUICK and Almost instantaneous Re pop- NM Including regular monster
PRETTY much QUICK EXP
EASY MODE Power level... (really ? rank 50 kill and you get exp....)
of course you attack but someone else finishes or even better party with a rank 50 he attack them all CLAIM and Leave party and finish them all you get the exp... that's over 10k exp per minutes per repop - don't forget they made repop faster then they used to be... Not only that- Farming item = quick by doing that on top.
Everything is planed to be strictly dungeon and Re-doable almost instantaneous- Of course everyone will keep going in over and over and over
They plan on adding FASTER DROP RATE on rare item the more we fight?
Ok I see the point....
---- It allows players to be able to play the game in short amount of time
---- it allows players to play with there friends
---- it allows us to do what ever we want when ever we log
---- It allows fairness for everyone
OK here's whats wrong with that system or point of view...
I don't think SE can or any game corporation can create a fun and cool update every month-
Aren't notorious monster considered RARE??? I guess not in XIV- maybe they only call it notorious monster to say unique monster??
If they want to give and allow us to get everything quick and fast pace they need to be able to do updates every month ... I don't see that happen...
Otherwise If we pay MONTHLY....
with the quickness of doing everything we want when ever we want wherever we want no mater what... Every update will only last about 2-4 week after it comes out ...
Is it really worth paying for month of no fun waiting for update? no
Will the population stay up during Update downtime? no
Is it fun to play an mmo with low population or decreasing population? no
That is the PROBLEM about QUICK and FAST-
IF THEY CAN'T offer QUICK updates (I don't think anyone can make a content quick...)
I Suggest SE to make Notorious monster at least one hour re-pop and more difficult to be claimed including not allowing SOOOOO many players to be able to claim them in a day.... one day a lot of players play to claim the notorious monster after update... the next day no one cares about it..... that Content of the update is over already?? really??... I suggest making it a Competitive claim-
(AT LEAST GIVE YOURSELF SOME TIME TO MAKE the next Update SE)
UNLESS YOU CAN MAKE UPDATE EVERY MONTH THEN YOU SHOULDN'T GIVE US QUICK ACCESS TO EVERY NOTORIOUS MONSTER THAT COMES OUT EVERY UPDATE....
I Suggest SE to make Drop rate Higher but not do-able infinite amount of time or where a system allows you to battle again only if you lose and can only win once every 24 hours.
I Suggest SE to allow Teleport from others only If you already have it, (Not a--- i am going to make a mule and have all the location or I'll Teleport you there and you'll have it) or make the Teleport system an ability you obtain doing the main QUEST.
I Suggest se to make traveling funner- Such as-
making monster follow you a far distance and outrunning you (Not you outrunning them and just leashing them) have Casting Monster with bind and gravity for example- Have npc good/bad monster that can be wandering the whole map not just a tiny 25 malm.
Be a 50/50 Open world / Instance world.
I SUGGEST MAKE THE GAME more FEARFUL In a fun way not annoying boring way...
The game has no fear...
you play you die oh well you don't really lose anything but damaged gear
(easy and cheap to repair gear anyway) Oh well...
you play you get lost? oh well Teleport Or Return or I have a FREE MAP...
you lose vs Notorious Monster or you miss claim- Oh well it re pops soon
You lose Dungeons Or Ifrit battle - Oh well I can do it again in 3 minute - oh damn it gets boring doing Ifrit over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Even if you lose or win....
that's all I have to say
This game seems to Aim for Repetitive battle... and quickness
This means the update NO MATER how MONSTROUS Yoshi says it is it will last less then a month or two...
The question is?? Can se Make an update every month or two?? of course every update will last on month and top two month max with every speed/quick and instantaneous access we get to everything.
Do you think it's worth paying monthly waiting for every update??
Don't get me wrong I am excited for the game- I just don't see the game going far if it keep repeating it's own Waiting downtime for every update.
