    Genderlocked Items

This is something that has bothered me since I started playing in 2014, but really came to be unbearable this past month with the release of the Aymeric item set. Is it really that much more effort to adjust these items so that we can wear them and enjoy them regardless of our character's gender?

I was excited for the release of the Aymeric set in particular, i looked forward to it for ages. And then on the day of release - sorry only men can wear this.
Sorry guys only girls get to wear feminine clothes

I am very sick and tired of these subtly sexist choices, and they ARE choices deliberately being made. It would not be a terrible imposition to alter a few polys to fit for gender differences. If an outfit can fit on both a Lalafel and a Roe it can fit for any gender.

We've got like four topics about this floating on the first couple of pages. You can just use those.

Also obligatory "females get more outfits than males already" comment. And obligatory "Why genderlock anything at all" comment.

Maybe if enough people complain about it repeatedly it might be addressed seriously.

Then go complain in the topics people already made about it instead of cluttering the front page of the forums with trash. 20 pages in one thread is better than 20 threads on one page.

Also, probably not wise to tag your own topic with "sexism". I mean, there's already some inflammatory tags up, but this is your topic. C'mon, man.

    Wrong.

Keeping one thread alive for a long time with a lot of posts gets things noticed.

And that's why devs rarely respond in comparison to jpn threads. Instead of continuing to promote a general idea under one thread, people are convinced that if they spam the same topic, it'll get addressed.

Idk about you but if I opened my email inbox and saw twenty repetitive subject lines, i'd read the first one and delete the rest without even bothering to see what's what.

Maybe some of us think genders having clothing differences is ok. I want more differences in this game, not less. I want them to do so equally though.

Yeah there isn't anything wrong with genderlocked gear. But there should be equality between the two.

Yeah they could come up with more outfits for men to use as clothings than these less poor clowny stuffs.
