Personal Limit Breaks

Personally, I like the group limit breaks. They're awesome looking, and have dramatic effects. If they were changed to solo limit breaks, they'd need to greatly diminish both the appearance (because, let's face it, 24-man raids would become downright unplayable with all the special effects getting in the way) and the effect of the ability.

Folks that want solo limit breaks, the option is open to you. Just get into PvP!

Lol they very much do. I've seen more people raging over a misplaced LB than anything. And why should I be forced to take an embarrassing action at an improper time during an encounter just to make use of a tool SE has ostensibly provided?

I personally would like a personal LB, No one, NO ONE, knows how to use them right. Everyone always uses them way to early in the battle just because they wanna be the one to use it.
Giving a personal LB would do away with it, but there would have to be a a cool down between each LB so its not one after another.

I didn't say anything about misplacing it. I said nobody cares who uses the LB (they won't care if you - the BRD - uses their LB over the DRG/NIN/MNK). People rage about misplaced LBs because healer LB may well be needed.

I'm a healer. They'll definitely care if I use it just because I want to see the pretty lights. Which, again - poor design, when you invest so much time into building these gorgeous animations only to have just a select few actually available to players.

The issue here with PvP is that the options for it are pretty bad compared to other games. I could go on an entire rant about the community and PvP as well but that's for another day.

PVP in general is a toxic mode, people get way to into it at which point it stops being fun for everyone. All PVP does is provide a place for trolls and A-holes to gather.
