    Dissatisfied customer

    One of my first video games ever was FF6 and I played it over and over. I have since bought and beat every final fantasy game since then and have supported the company over the last 20 years. I recently went to update my credit card information for my FF14 account and accidentally signed onto a very old account and spent $75 on a 6 month subscription that I can't even play because I don't have a PC anymore. I have been trying to have some way to just apply that money towards my PS4 account so that I can continue to play on the character I have been preparing for stormblood when it comes out. No, they will do nothing for me. I am stuck with a subscription that I can't use. I am now a very unhappy customer and am so upset that I don't want to purchase or play any square products ever again.

    Why did you not link them? You can use the same account for PC/Ps4. The account page also shows you which characters are on the account. Not that it doesn't suck, but it sounds like you made the mistake, and these things arent ever refundable.

    It had been like 5 years so I decided to create a new account when I bought it for PS4. I'm not sure what my thought process was there

    Sorry to hear, but it does sound like you made a mistake. Also, why use a different account? You can use the same account for all platforms.

    Yeah, and I realize I did make a mistake but everyone makes mistakes. But for it to cost me $75+ because of an honest mistake... it just isn't right. I can't imagine they can't rectify this

    So because you made a mistake, you will never buy square products ever again? that seems a little... off?

    There isnt much they can do, people would refund subscriptions all the time if they could get away with it. They cant just transfer it.

    But there should be rules for it. If the account is used at all then it shoildn't be allowed... I agree with that. But I haven't even logged in because I don't even have a PC anymore, I have a mac now. So I haven't touched the account with the new subscription because I just can't use it

    I contacted the support center and they were trying to make an exception but they said since I knew I had 2 accounts that it was my responsibility to keep track of them. I called corporate and they said they didn't deal with that stuff

Say that yes, you made an error, but you'd really appreciate them assisting you in any way.
