I'd just add that, if you do the LW quest now, you may get guildmarks that will eventually be phased out. But they're almost certainly going to offer some rewards in exchange for those guildmarks later: gil, company shields, etc. So it's not like you'd be getting no reward at all. Even if you don't spend them now, you'll still be getting something in the end.
