Please add a new unique race to 14

Please can we get a race that is unique to 14. We have loads of stuff relating to previous titles in FF, now is the time to make something fresh and original that makes 14 stand out.

Maybe something like this an actual beast race.

They have already said that they will never make a playable race without human legs/feet/hands, as it would mess up the current armours and they don't wanna rework every model ingame and future ones.
So I would asume that goes for the head aswell.

So sorry, no "true" beast race possible. Only thing we can hope for are more Humans with animal ears/tails.

That is too bad, I have always hoped that they would add in some sort of "dog like" player race. Neko girls are so 1990's.

I vote for K9 master race, and when in a full party, they get a "pack buff"

I would like that or a humanoid one. But im sure people will say Miqotes can looks like a wolf ....But they act like a kitty , no like a wolf , ears and tail are different :'(

Au Ra is a race that has never been in other Final Fantasy games.

You can kiiinda compare Au Ra to the Gria... just take away the wings and ears, have the horns point froward/back and you have yourself an Au Ra :T

At least they're a different size. We could use something between a cat and a lalafell.

Honestly I just want more options for the races we do have first, and especially... some goddamn cloth physics.

It's the puffed out bottoms of robes and awkwardly diagonal coat-tails that bother me. I mean, what the hell's holding them out there? Why are the ornamental weights on the shiva gear pointing in any direction but what's gravitationally aligned when idle?

If they want to hype an expansion outside new jobs in the future they will.

ESO has far more customization to it for character creation than FFXIV AND they have several unique beast races. So its doable, it just depends on sitting a few modelers on it for a minute.
