I don't think it is and here's why; you can get more than double the xp at that camp vs any other. So even if you switched jobs, you and everyone else can still get all your level 40 classes to 50 in just a few hours all while rotating who plays a level 50 job.
I think it is, for 2 reasons: When we arrived in Natalan, we chose our camp which was hijacked. In the time that we were there, all other camps became occupied. Of course this means we should have done 2 things: We should have moved and either exercised all meaning of the word hypocrisy or spend anima to go to another Stronghold which may or may not have been available.
We were wrong, and you/they are right. /facepalm.
High minded ideals and sharing only work when both parties are riding the high horse. If one is content to chop your horse off at the knees while you talk down to them explaining the virtues and correctness of your position, you lose.
This isn't RL. As someone said above this is some peoples only form of competition and it is taken to extremes (for better or worse). A failure to lower yourselves when the situation requires will only lead you to not get what you want while they get what they want. I'm not saying you should approach all situations from the vantage of someone with no qualms. I am, however, saying that you have only yourself to blame if you get frozen out of something because you were still sending someone tells containing your indignation and moral outrage with demands to negotiate a compromise while the other party ignores you and profits. Angry tells, pointless /frustrated emotes, endless deliberation with your fellow party members, and teleporting out to play elsewhere when faced with competition isn't going to solve anything. Well... it will for your competition.
