The point being that we weren't there for the Sentry, specifically, just to grind. Because there were 3 of them the mobs would link on them as well. Camping the Sentry on top of us was rude as-is, but if it were just the Sentry it'd be forgivable.

So were they kiting the sentry over to your camp? Or were you just camped next to the sentry and expecting him to stand around untouched? I'll be frank, If I saw you grinding next to the sentry, and my party wanted the key, guess who's gonna camp the sentry.

We were grinding at the Sentry pop. The correct action would have been to ask, "Excuse me, I see you're grinding here and we just want the Sentry. Would you mind letting us have him"? They could have even backed out of the way so the new spawns didn't link them, but they couldn't even be bothered for that.

a sentry is essentialy like a NM, first come first serve on its claim

to think that you have the right to say that everyone has to wait to get the chest until your done with it is rude within itself too

lets be realistic on how players think and act in the moment...


everyone is selfish in their own right and all it takes it for 1 messup and everyone will be all over each other in that kind of arrangement

Plenty of other, better, places to exp grind, go somewhere else. I'd think they would have priority since that one mob drops key and you can go anywhere to exp

I'm not really defending it as mush as I'm saying, "it's going to happen to you, so here's how to defend against it", and "if you're not going for the sentry but are grinding next to him, you should probably move out of the way."

We were actually the very first and only people in Natalan, and it filled with about 4 other parties in one hour. I am not about to move my party and spend my anima because others are just dicks.
