Great idea with lots of potential!

Always been a fan of getting Libra/Scan into this game + Having a beastiary.
I re-read the rules on the card game and is the only way to earn a card by playing another PC or an NPC? Or did I miss a sentence in there somewhere?
i will admit i didnt read the rules thoroughly (cuz its almost 5am) but im interested, so im earmarking this.. but this came to mind made by these guys, a card arcade game that reminded me of what you got going on here

Tetra master please. That's all.
always hoped for tetra master integration in ffxi (why in pol and not in game.. never understood), and again hoping (but hope is just a lie....) for a similar card game in ffxiv. Why cant we share guildleves, play with them, or get them as drops from nms..
This is fairly similar to something I was thinking of but much more balanced and well thought out, I love it!
I really hope we get something like this in-game soon, we need more fun side-activities and mini-games. Yoshida wants it to be a proper FF but what's a final fantasy without fun games?
i think that idea is better suited for monster vs monster tournaments.
A well thought out, and very detailed idea Chin, +1 x infinity, this should defo be placed on Yoshi's desk.
Great idea, fully support it.
We could also get new cards based on achievements. This should make the hardcore players happy.
I would also like to see some other rewards that can be tied into the every day play time, like gear or weapons obtained by trading certain rare cards or multiple cards to an NPC.
