I'm in favor of anything like a collectible card game too. But whatever SE comes with up, it doesnt have to be strictly this or that. Any one "good" would make me happy. I loved to play card games in FF 8/9 and to collect them all.

Plus I think cards should have other usage than just to play card game. Sell card to npc vendor for gils, convert pack of cards into thing/craft material, etc.
