    Real life's engine sucks too, apparently. But I will agree the normal mapping on the stone walls in Limsa Lominsa drive me nuts also.

    Considering that shadows on transparent and reflective surfaces tend to be EXTREMELY demanding hardware-wise, no, there's nothing wrong with it.
