To the OP,

Sure, WoW's graphics are fairly put together, but the palate of the game looks like a retarded kids coloring book.

I always admired Final Fantasy for implementing a more 'realistic' look to things while still keeping in check that everything is very 'fantasy' based. I believe that FFXIV's graphics may not be the best damn graphics of any game ever. But it is easily in the top 2-3 of any current MMO in my own opinion.
