Should i main Nin instead of Bard?

Hey everyone! Im new to this game and i have been leveling bard to 46 for some time now lovely job and all also not having issues with all its abilities and songs. But i also started a Rogue ready to be ninja now but the gameplay feels more dynamic than bard. So my question is is ninja needed more than bard in groups or should i stick with bard and there sexy looking bows? Any help will be appreciated

Both jobs are needed in the same amount, so it is really just up to your personal preferences.

BRD will change a lot above level 50, when you get a stance that will make you a "caster" and gives you a damage boost. Maybe level up to there and find out how that suits you and then you can decide wether you want to try out NIN more? Just a personal suggestion though. ^^

To my experiences (I am not pro as BRD/NIN, just play it from time to time in dungeons), both have a lot of OGCD skills and are quite dynamic classes, which can be a huge help for the group with buffs for increasing party damage. I think in the end it comes up to the question if you like to be a melee and run around a lot or a range who casts and therefore needs to stay for sometimes.

I've got a NIN at 60 (I'm no expert or anything) but I've no knowledge of Bards...

Ninjas are fun to play as with Stealth, Teleporting and ninja flips, plus they've got some good DPS boosting abilities, but being a Melee means that you might find you get hit a bit more than a Ranged DPS...

This happens at level 52. Additionally NIN gets a lot easier to play with regards to keeping up Huton at level 54. So it's probably a good idea to take a look at both jobs once you're at those respective levels and see what you think.

Also, side benefit, NIN has a naturally faster movement speed. It's a small thing, but if you're running around in that job, you'll save time
