For real, can Square do something about the bot users? As if Shatter wasn't already too PvE-oriented enough already.

This is so true it's disturbing. And the bots are all but obvious. They load in mounted, rarely ever dismount near enemies, beeline for ice, and do nothing else besides.
Frontlines really is not enjoyable at all right now thanks to this.
We just have to keep reporting & hope something gets done. I know it's annoying to end up reporting after almost every match but at least it gives them data as to the amount of problem players out there. Maybe, gods willing, they will introduce detection routines in the future.
It's why i only go in as a premade team and stomp them lol. Kills for days!
Yup! And they don't need to be bots to get that feeling lol.
Oh I'm aware of that. But for the ones we know are bots, they're usually already mounted.
They also will not attempt to fight back at all, for the most part. They'll attack ice, then retreat back to a rally point. Their behavior is all but subtle.
Is this more common on Aether or something? I don't recall seeing anything weird like that on Primal, but then again I'm healing so I'm not usually paying attention to the behavior of a few randoms.
Yeah there are a few. One of which is top 3 for fl wins in our DC
Oh Lore, my sweet, innocent Lore. *prepares for being slapped*...
Unfortunately they're quite common on Primal too, even coming from Levi at times. You only really notice them when going through the scoreboard at the end when someone has done no damage or healing but has died 5 times or so. They're usually using bots that just run them into the action but don't take part at all. The ones who use more advanced bots & attack the ice are harder to detect as the scoreboard makes them look "active". Look for people running at a wall or getting to an ice & standing doing nothing for 30s before attacking. They're usually ranged so don't get into the melee.
