Sturmgrenadier is an online gaming Syndicate that is involved multiple games with over 1000 active members.

Started in 2000 for World War II on-line, Sturmgrenadier was founded on mature players working together and it was this team first mentality that attracted players from all over the world to join. It is a natural progression for SG to look to new and upcoming games with all of its new challenges. From that point on, leaders within SG created additional opportunities for the current member base and have been able to recruit successfully for each subsequent game. Today, we have a presence in many online games. Whether it is a long standing games such as Eve Online and World of Warcraft, or newer titles such as Star Citizen and Black Desert among others, the core of our leadership system is the same: We recruit quality players and through the friendships that are formed, new leaders rise from within to carry on the traditions of team-first organized play.

Many of the members are coming up on their 10-15 year anniversary with SG. We have social gatherings around the world and are well beyond your typical 'on-line gaming group'.

While Sturmgrenadier stretches across many games, each member abides by the same core principles as set by our charter.


Members will always treat each other with respect, promote fellowship within the community, and avoid discussing controversial topics.

Members will be respectful to everyone they interact with while gaming with SG or communicating in public concerning SG.

Members will follow the chain of command as specified for SG as a whole and the specific games they play.

The Syndicate Command Staff and Portal Command Staff will be fair and consistent in how they manage members of SG.

Members are only allowed to join one Portal at a time, but can still participate with SG in any other "Official" or "Unofficial" games.

Members must notify Syndicate Command Staff if intending to play an "Official" SG game with another group or organization.

Members are expected to use SG designated Voice Communications (TeamSpeak 3) when playing "Official" SG games. See “Members Information” Topic for Voice Communication information.

Members are expected to actively participate in the community, this includes Logging into the Forums and Teamspeak at least once per month. Members may also be expected to learn and follow additional procedures/rules pertaining to the specific games that the member participates in. See “Portal Information” post for each game.

Members will abide by every End user Licensing Agreement (EULA) provided by games in which SG operates.

Membership is not guaranteed and can be revoked at any time by Syndicate Command Staff.

Within Final Fantasy XIV, we have a fantastic close knit community. We have multiple people with varied play times and styles that always have a great time, even when we’re doing separate things.

Who we’re looking for
We are in no way exclusively looking for a certain player, or even a certain class. People of all play styles and times are welcome to join SG.

Thanks for your informative post. How many active members do you have? (For FFXIV)

We're rather small right now pre expansion. We number about 7 or 8 players who log in through the week getting ready for the expansion, who will of course become daily players come June 16. We're still expecting to see some more come back in the next few weeks as well as the weeks that follow the expansion.

Sturmgrenadier's presence in Final Fantasy has never been large. I believe the largest we've seen was about 30 daily players. The feeling of community has constantly been what makes so many of us stay since we all started back in beta.
