A good server and when a good time to level other jobs/classes?

I'm thinking of making a new character as I lost something from the Veteran Reward in the mail and I have beeing noticed some lags on my sever. Am I asking which server is good for someone who lives in Wiscones, Hayward as while lives outside of town? I would also like to know when a good time when to level other classes/jobs after living your main one.

It's not much the server you should check but rather the Data Center. Since you're in north america, normally Primal and the other one. If you wish to remain on the primal data center but still try other servers, I suggest Leviathan, Behemoth and Hyperion.

Still, You might wanted to check your internet connection if it's just random lag spikes. Maybe it's also a frame drop which could be caused due to your specs.

As for leveling other classes/jobs... There's no real right timing. I got a char that I gunned to max level and started leveling the sub-classes, but I also have one that I left the main class behind and levelled the other classes faster. If you like experimenting a lot, maybe you could level them all. Time consuming, but you'd be experienced with each of them. Or maybe get your main char to the end of ARR (Around level 50) and start leveling the rest then till a set level, then move on to the rest of the story, etc.

If you did not receive your veteran reward, then I advice you to contact the GM and ask them to look into it. You wont need it for your current character, since you are going to make another one on a new server, but incase it happens again, contact the GM. Press the ESC button ingame and pick the support option. There you can make a ticket where you can request help from the GM, just know that it can take 6 hours to 7 days before an GM contacts you, its very random.

Leveling the remaining classes is realy up to you, some players level them as soon as possible, because they want to max them all as soon as possible and others prefer to take their time. I personaly, prefer to level my remaining classes between the big patches.

The only way I could see you losing a veteran reward is if you picked it up, and then somehow dropped it or something... in which case go say hi to the calamity salvager, he should have it.

It is impossible to delete letters that still have items attached to them. Check the second mail tab for your "received mail" and it should be there. "Lag Spikes" can have many causes such as your specs as was mentioned or your ISP's routing; there are only two NA data centers (Primal and Aether) that are both in the same location so there won't be any difference if you move to another NA server. Primal and Aether are currently located in Montreal but are going to be moved to another location in May so if it really is your connection that is the issue then that may improve it depending on the new location (we don't know it yet).

Level your main job to 60, while levelling classes you need cross class skills for first, then level the rest at your own pace to avoid burnout.
Only real servers i have experience with is Leviathan and know many players on Brynhildr both of which are NA servers, and Phoenix which i first started on years ago, that one is a EU server.
