Ifrit doable without LNC + Sentinel?

Don't get me wrong TheFatHouseCat I appreciate and respect all the hard work that BlueGarter puts forth and shares with the public, I've been using that website for valuable information since FFXI. I just hate it when people take their ways of victory as doctrine and covet it like the last supper. :/

But maybe I'm just too out of the box and experimental x_x; I meant no offense.

I agree with this, once Bluegarter post a stratagy its the only way to do it according to the community, remember DH arc burn, now ifrit LNC burn what will it be next king moogle MRD burn (could be alot of mobs if the vid shown in live letter is anything to go by, so AoE onry)

I would say its doable, I wanna see if I can win with all PUGs sometime, and Omega_Hack you arent too out of the box I beat him in an all santa party

Edit and you can survive Hellfire without sentinal, I have done it many times, you just need to be at full HP and have stoneskin 2 up and you will survive with ~400-600 HP depending on how fresh stoneskin is, you just need, as people have said, one or 2 curagas on melee straight after it damages you.
