We've done it with two MRD, two CNJ, one THM, two LNC, and one ARC.

OMG YES we have an archer in the party and she is pretty damn good at avoiding everything, just takes practice. Her damage and distance from Ifrit also takes eruption priority off the mages a lot of the time.

And yes OP, I have survived Hellfire without Sentinel before because I used it too early /sigh. lol but I did have rampart and defender up xD

Same here - popped it to early and screwed it up

You'll survive if you are close to full life and buffed with skills like Stoneskin and Rampart, however you will have very little life left (< 500 hp). Ifrit however will already be moving into his next WS almost right away. You'll want to make sure you are safely out of the way of the next WS and get on with healing yourself quickly.

It is OP, I just don't want to have to turn down my graphics to record a fight hehe.. especially when my party isn't as great at avoiding things as I am xD

It's not so much that people failed to make a video, it's just that there's no reason to. It's not particularly amusing, and it's not a brand new strat or anything, and it's been KNOWN that you can beat Ifrit without LNC/Sentinel. No reason to put time and effort into a vid about... well, nothing.

I don't see any reason why a group would torture themselves to do this based on the sh***y drop rate.
But I might be wrong.
