    Zurvan/Cross-World Toxicity

Is anyone else fed up with the behavior of a lot of cross-world parties, not even over skipping soar or not, but the short tempers of several players in general?
The worst is getting blamed for mechanics going wrong when someone else doesn't own up.
The hostility that ensues instead of just talking about things rationally is ridiculous. It is just a game after all, but too many treat it like if something little happens it's the end of the world.

It's an enduring problem with the game.

Short tempers and excessive requirements? Not near as bad in a good amount of hunter games.

I can agree with you on the owning up part, but you go in with a certain party knowing what the party expects from you and vice versa. If you're in a clearing party or a farm party, the standards are higher than a training party. If it were just a training party, rules would be looser and people know not to expect much/not rage as much. If people still rage during a training party, then its their fault because its obviously a training party.

Obviously it varies from game to game. Don't take that too literal. Most games will have a segment of players that act with hostility towards any problem whether it is competitive or cooperative.

That's to be expected can't really view or know their skill. For the majority of it people can't follow instructions, or even ignore mechanics. Your better of making learning parties and have them review a fight on youtube min.

Short tempered players, yes. There are a lot of them.
Two or three wipes are enough for them to know the potential of the party they are with.

Don't think of it as 'Toxicity' but rather, they don't want to waste their time with a group who has low chance of clearing content.

I do find it annoying because I respect duty time and hope other players did as well. I signed up for 90 minutes and I will stay 90 minutes. After duty time is done and we need to re-enter I shall take my leave if I was not satisfied with the group.

I'm gonna take the unpopular, "hardcore" route (though I myself am getting older and thus falling back from "hardcore" status) and say I hope that Stormblood eschews mechanics that are Day 1 skippable via high dps in favor of either interesting mechanics shared among the team (maybe it wasn't a ground breaking concept, but I liked Limit Cut in A11S) and punishment/complication mechanics over instant-kill ones.

If you can't skip a mechanic, guess what you do? You LEARN how to handle it. You know, like we did in Thordan Ex. The last "hard" Extreme trial.

I love it! I have the most issues with same-server PF.
