Lodestone Darkmode

It looks like the Lodestone was recently updated to have an extremely white background and is very strenuous on the eyes. Is there anyway we could get a dark mode setting for when visiting the site that is saved in the cookies?

I did this on mobile, but if you open the side menu and scroll all the way down there are two circles next to "theme". Click the black circle and it's dark again

The button is also between the search and language section.

I am with you. There was nothing wrong with previous version. This one is just plain ugly.

Everything looks so out of place in the new design. I thought some script didn't load when I was checking the place. Some text appears eye-straining small, some appears oddly huge and there is so much space when you click on an FC. It makes one wonder if this is final design or work-in-progress.
It does load fast but it also strains the eyes fast too. Some text appears almost unreadable with the white theme on. I definitely miss the old one.

some things i have noticed...

whether it be the dark or light theme, there is too much contrasting.

both dark and light do not appeal to me, and the white is just seriously ugly.

it is very basic, generic or plain... it just feels cheap and is boring.

loads faster. meh.



all-in-all, i am with others in hoping that this is a work in progress. hopefully more detailed elements will be done.
