    I think if you get all the achievements or half of em then all of em, you get like a set of cosmetic gear. I'm pretty sure people don't want gear floating around everywhere. The thing is on the stats with the achievements, nobody will know you will have it or not, its like a hidden effect. Nobody is going to really care, like I said the stats would be minuet. They don't even have to be stats, they could be run 2% faster, regenerate anima 2% faster(i hate anima).

    I agree, I think it should be small things and not necessarily stuff that would have an impact during battle. The lower tier bonuses should be fairly easy to achieve, something you can do after a few hours of playing, while the high tier bonuses require a little more dedication of time and effort.


    As for what type of achievements I'd like to see. Sticking with some of your examples, after running a certain amount of maims, you get an ever so slight speed bonus. Further distances increase the speed further, maybe topping off at 5-10%. Another possible achievement could be using 1000 anima and your body becomes more in tune with it increasing your anima regeneration slightly. (4.5 every 8 hours. Next tiers: 5, 5.5, 6, etc.)

    I'd prefer there would be no upper limit, just an insane amount of effort to reach. (I like long term goals that I can work towards, getting ever so closer with each teleport. For those familiar with FFXI, think relic weapon type of effort.)

    In the anima example above, the progression of anima usage could increase something like: 1000, 2000, 5000, 10000, 20000, 50000, etc. Even using 1000 anima at the current rate of regeneration would take a while to reach. It would take months just to reach the higher tiers and it wouldn't require anything other than just playing the game and being loose with your teleports.

    one achievement I would like to see, would be one that showed you payed for all the months, getting that mount reward or whatever. Or something else, I don't like the new mounts to well D:

    There could be some fun, silly achievements too.

    The Live To Fight Another Day achievement. Earned by successfully running away X number of times from a mob at your level higher when you have less than 100 HP.

    A repeatable achievement (one that restart itself once completed) that reward the player with a consumable item (such as confetti, fireworks, etc.)

    That way, once in a while, you get some consumable to throw around and have fun with.

    Like the idea, but I prefer them being passive traits.
    Granted we don't know what the 300+ list contains but it'll be nice to have...

    [Self multilation Achievements]
    "Shot through the heart" achievement - For receiving 9999+ damage.
    (Means you went somewhere you are not supposed to )
    -> Gives 1% damage reduction vs critical hits (because you are now paranoid so you wear an extra metal plate near your heart)

    "Hades' Favored I/II/III/IV..." - For being KO-ed X-times
    -> Slight reduction of down time for being KO-ed (because of been that done that)

    [Mob killing Achievements]
    "Sheep Shearer" - For killing 1000 Karakuls
    -> Allows sheep mobs to drop 1 extra item (because practice makes perfect)

    "Snurble De-Tufter" - For murdering 1000 Snurbles.
    -> Allows snurbles to drop more tufts (because practice makes perfect)

    [Being lucky Achievements]
    "Luck of Legends" - For making a 5-materia item.
    -> +1% chance when making Forbidden Materia melds (because you are just that god-damn lucky)

    "Tiffany" (or any other famous brands) - For making 100 HQ GSM item from NQ items
    -> +1% chance of getting HQs from NQs (because you are that gifted craftsman)
    -> Similar achievements for every craft.

    [Finishing Move Achievements]
    "Burnt to a crisp" - Killing 1000 mobs with Flare (+1% damage to Flare)

    "Slow over a stove" - Killing 1000 mobs with Burn (+1% damage to Dot effect)

    "BBQ Skewerer" - Killing 200 mobs, 5 at a time with Skewer (+1% to ATK Bonus from multiple mobs)

    etc etc etc

    No. Because then I'd have to choose the "optimal title" and people won't invite me unless I have a "certain title" rather than using whatever the hell title I want.
