...there's no AST ability that makes them immune to damage and then fully heals them. What are you talking about? At best they're using Attunement (available to all healers) then popping Essential Dignity after it ends - if ED crits, it might fully heal them, but odds are they had a regen on themselves before entering Attunement anyway and that helped.

That must be it. I didn't know if it was a single ability or if Attunement also healed them. I tried astrologian on an alt and got to like level 40 before I decided I'd rather stab my toenails with an icepick.

Attunement doesn't heal, it just makes you take significantly less damage and you are unable to move or perform any actions while Attunement is active.
