    Penalty from light/full party duties, why does this happen.

    Okay so, I've noticed this recently when doing dungeons with a light party. We que for a roulette, like 50 or 60, and we get a dungeon we don't wanna do, we decide to leave. Well the first person to leave get the 30 minute penalty. I don't remember this ever being an issue, nor when leaving a trial as a full party, anyone getting the penalty. What seems to be going on, is this a glitch or something new? And why is it allowed for light/full parties, we aren't wronging anyone.

    I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

    It's been around for a long time, dude. It's because tanks and healers like to bail since they have instant queues and leave three other people sitting on their arse for 20 minutes while they hops duties until they gets one they like.

    It's a good thing. If you wanna not have a penalty, vote abandon.

    I think it's because of the fact that it's a roulette still. It's been that way for a long while as far as I can remember, I've been in groups with friends ans we left Aurum Vale once, and the first one to leave got the kick in the butt wait time, and this was early last year. Since then we've just dealt with whatever dungeons we've gotten.

    I think it's to prevent people from just spamming roulettes like that until they 'get the easy stuff'. Gotta work for it if you got a bonus I guess?

    Yeah it's been like that for ages. I remember leaving Hullbreaker (normal) back when it was in Expert Roulette (2.3) because I and my friends were sick of it and the first person to leave got a penalty. Presumably it's so premades don't fish the roulette for a specific instance.

    You can't vote abandon for 15 minutes. And I know why the penalty exists. The point was that it happens while in a light party.

    It might be because it's a roulette, that did cross my mind, but I don't recall it happening before, though admittedly it's been a long long time since we "left" a dungeon.

    If I remember correctly its from back when farming Brayflox HM was a thing and people in light parties would do the roulette and leave if they didnt got that one - so yes, it is in place so you wont abuse the roulette system when in a matched party. (So naturally it only applies in roulettes - you can leave normal instances without the penalty in a matched party)

    Seems honestly fair for roulette, you're getting the bonus because you tackle a random piece f content, if you can cheese you way into what you want you kill the whole point of the roulette

    Its a roulette. The whole point of a roulette is you don't get to cherry pick which one you want to do otherwise it wouldn't be a roulette.

    this is weird as if you are a full pre-made group the penalty shouldn't exist, it is only from df parties.

    im confused >.>;;

    Think of it, if you're in a fully premade group for a roulette, and you don't get something you want, you can simply leave as a group of friends and keep doing this until you get something easy/quick to finish up. It's to keep people from cheesing the system so they can't get more reward for less effort.

    Roulettes give bonuses, so people shouldn't be able to basically pick what dungeon they get when it's supposed to be random.
