    New question: Is the hairstyle then unlocked for all characters if I take them to the Aesthetician, or is it only for that one character?

    It's a Mogstation hairstyle, right? It's specific to that one character. You'd have to buy it separately for any others you want to have it.

    Any character that is linked to the one account should receive it unless there is some kind of disclaimer on it.

    The mogstation hairstyles are character-specific. You have to designate the character that will receive it when you're purchasing. When I bought the Lightning outfit, my Talya character received the hairstyle. It wasn't available for any of my alt characters.
