Thank You for Heavensward

Having just completed the patch 3.56 story quests, I'm left in absolute awe of the experience that the team has crafted for us. When I think back on everything that happened in the story, and everything that we experienced, I am blown away at the magnitude and connectedness of it, and how well the various elements were woven together. It was an incredible journey, and I hope one day to be able to thank you in person for delivering it to us.

Truly, thank you.

Also note, I know there are at least a handful of folks who have gripes with this expansion, or who just disagree with me. I would ask that if you disagree with the point of this thread (thanking the developers for Heavensward), you kindly not comment, and move along. I and those who agree with me greatly enjoyed the experience, and I would ask that you not try to rain on our parade for the developers.

Honestly, it says something when a side quest takes me to an area I haven't visited in months and I get nostalgic about it. X)

I know we all like to nitpick at times, but just looking at the whole of Heavensward, the vast areas, the awesome characters you meet, the hundreds of stuff to gather and craft, it's a little amazing isn't it? Like, when you compare it to the smaller scale of ARR? I've been playing everyday for over a year and still haven't run out of things to do. \o/

Heavensward is really spectacular, I had posted this on another thread myself saying the same things... obviously you can't satisfy everyone, but overall this was a really excellent experience for me in any MMO.

While ARR campaign was good, this one was really spectacular.

I found the story in HW be much more enjoyable than ARR and had an blast in the new zones. Sure there are valid complaints and stuff but overall I feel it was a great expansion. Can't wait to see what awaits in Stormblood!

Heavensward was truly amazing for it to be the game's first expansion; yeah it has its flaws, but still it was good. The story was one hell of a thrill ride and I never boo-hoo cried over a game before; a certain part in it made me emotionally rekt lol. I'm totally looking forward to Stormblood, I bet it's going to be just as epic as this one ^^ Well done Yoshi P and dev team! Keep up the amazing work

I will admit I felt more attached to the characters this time around just by how the story was told... I was literally involved right from the start.
