One question: why?
I'm fine with furniture and gear added there, they're never the same and change each year.
But Pa-Paya? That's the same music ever since this event exists and is kinda emblematic to it. So why not propose it to the in game NPC each year??

Since people have been buying the items from the previous years' events, I think this Mog Station event stuff is set in stone. Until people stop buying it, I don't think SE will think of changing it. We got the music from the quest last time, same as all the other last year events in the Mog Station.

Yup.. Its one reason why I feel sad for new players because they'll never have access to this stuff unless they pull out there wallets.

the sad thing is it is that or they dont get accsess at all if i recall originally they wernt sure if they were going to do that out of fairness to those who were subscribed during the time of the event, eventually they changed to you get it for 'free' by being subbed during the time and an additional fee if you missed or wernt a memeber at that time.

Well, they've been adding previous iterations of event items to the Mogstation and Pa-paya is a previous year's reward. Although I would much rather have an empty spot in my orchestrion list than pay for that song... And I'm slowly realizing that if we receive an event themed mount it'll probably play Pa-paya. -_-

$3 for a consumable item for ONE character on your account is absolutely extortionate, especially when it's an item that should be included with the subscription fee you already pay to pay the game.

This is too far, SE. This mogstation update is really too far, orchestrion rolls and recolors of leveling gear at a premium for a single character, what the hell are they thinking?

Again I think it would help a lot if they made their new vet system Kupo Cash. People wont stop buying and so SE will definitely not stop selling, however, they can add Kupo Cash as vet rewards at a rate that allows people to occasionally buy missing or random new things (or at least discount them to something they find reasonable, change that $20 mount into $3) while at the same time whales (company's true love lol) will still be buying stuff as the KC wont grow fast enough.

Even with the above they really need to do something about their consumables though, games like GW2 which lives off the cash shop and expansions even allows you to buy and own the dye. So even if they increased the price a bit, consumable purchases in a digital game is such a dirty feeling.

At least in Western games it seems account wide purchases is approaching/for the most major already is common courtesy, including dyes in GW2 iirc.
