Request: Job based swimwear

Wish they would add bunch new swimming outfits. Ones we have now been around for years.

They should add a bunch. I would like more one piece options.

I drew some quick sketches of bathing suit examples/ideas. The one on the left is nice and classic, clean, elegant - simple. A design doesn't have to be crazy with ruffles and details to be beautiful. The top one is more cute - it would be ADORABLE on a Lalafel! And finally the bottom, something sporty. I thought of Speedo, and Cactuar are traditionally very fast, so a simple Cactuar logo fits right in. A Chocobo could also work.

This is all fine and dandy... except male characters exist. I'm all about equal treatment so I can't agree to this while leaving them out! Until someone posts male job swimwear, I can't be on board with this. And I can't draw so... Someone be my hero.

My big issue with this is that there are 15 jobs in the game, 2 genders, and 6 races. That's 180 unique costume models for this one very niche idea. It's not a case of "just doing it", this idea is extremely resource-intensive, for what is essentially event gear. If they were going to go down the additional AF gear route, I'd rather it be for something a bit more relevant to the core game, rather than someones beach fantasy (which I don't have a problem with, it just doesn't deserve as many resources dedicated to it as this would cost).

Having said that, I don't have any issues with more swimwear as a concept, and there are some really nice designs in this thread outside of AF ones. Though my theory is that if we do get swimwear, it will be exclusively hingan/doman themed.

Why does it always have to be two piece? I'm a Female IRL who plays these games too and i have to say that the fact that male avatars have a choice between trunks and speedos but female avatars do not have a choice between two piece and one piece is annoying. I happen to think that one piece bathing suits are much more attractive and offer more mystery and flattering outlines to a silhouette which is why i prefer them. Not to mention its a lot less irritation at the beach where sand can cause some serious issues with skin abrasions. LOL. Why cant they make some selections in one piece. If there are some i haven't see any so far. Id like to know where to get them or what recipes make them. If there are none i think its long over due. I myself like the once piece suits with the little skirts, its cute.

Didn't the devs make an effort to move away from gear that shares slots though? A two piece would most definately share the body and leg slots. It looking nice is one thing, but game resources is another.

These are some incredible designs, job swimsuits is something I didn't know I wanted til now- maybe when you do a FFX crossover raid these could be our blitzball outfits, eh SE?

Honestly, I want more stuff that were given to seperate jobs in the first place. Other than job gear and the victory & battlepose emotes, there isn't really much out there :c
