I don't want nor like lalafell. Yet I accept that people want to play as them and like their aesthetic even though I personally don't like it.
BUT IVE ACCEPTED IT.
And it's fine and they dont impend my gameplay.
(I love lala's really....but my point stands)
The thing is that with the thread's title, it gives the feel like all those picture are meant to oppress SE for them to finally make everything gender unlock?
But I'm not sure how this is supposed to oppress them.
We don't want to oppress Square-Enix!
We want to demonstrate that:
- Some people like dressing their characters up in glamours that very conservative people don't like. The world doesn't end when we do.
- Male character models have very nice legs too.
- When we ask for equal glamour treatment and get told that it's impossible because S-E don't like putting boys in skirts, it's nonsense.
- We aren't going to forget about this request and go away just because it hasn't yet been addressed.
- It's honestly liberating to respond to jibes by putting a flower in your hair and dancing instead of getting upset.
My preferred reaction would be that the S-E reps get a smile out of this thread, not a frown. That's why I try to pose my lanky Elezen to look confident in his clothes![]()

Boys in skirts?

Boys in skirts is the best thing in the world after chocolate au lait.
New page, new picture.
This isn't a skirt, but I think it fits the brief of a guy in traditionally girly clothes; the Hailstorm set is obviously directly based on Shiva's hyper-feminine style and features frills, a gigantic silver nipple-star, a tiara, sheer fabric, tight pants plus boots with kitten heels. I didn't like this set much when I first got it piece by piece because nothing matched anything else I wore at the time, but as a complete set it's ok. Those with stockier characters may strongly disagree.
Of course, with my character's skinny frame and hollow cheeks there's the secondary interpretation of him trying to look like a washed up 70s glam rocker, which I'm also ok with in a different way.
Aw I wish I could join in the glamour fun but I only just fantasia'd to a femroe the other day. Though my character looked much like Serilda's anyway - so lovely to see another blue dusky around. <3
