Tonight we have the Valkyrie's Coat of Striking with the Orthadox Tricorne of Striking and plain long skirt. I actually tried on both my usual level 50 crafting glasses and the actual matching hat, but neither were quite fabulous enough for my tastes.

Mind explaining what you mean by that? We already have both job-specific gear (AF sets, though there are admittedly not that many of those) and class specific gear (most dungeon sets, though some pieces are shared between multiple classes), and the goal of this thread would do nothing to take away from either of those.

Yeah, this set has that nice oldtimey feel to the design, I love it. I almost wouldn't have minded another round or two of the same models being swapped between classes again, since it would be nice to be able to glamour all the styles even though I really only play white mage and monk.

I level all DoW and DoM... and it's extremely painful to get gears.

Scylla set from Syrcus Tower with the Behemoth Mask substituted for the rather awful helm, since I turned it into GC seals long ago. I have mixed feelings about this set; on the one hand, it's delightfully fluffy, and I really love the overall shape of the robe and the layered skirt, and the design of the back area in particular, but on the other hand, those dangling paws and the chest armor are just a little over the top for my tastes...
