Exactly my point, the Blackbosom dress was only requested recently (I'd say about a year ago), meanwhile the male bunny outfit has been longer than that and still not within the game, even as inaccessible data.I'm more curious on how something like the Blackbosom gear can be made in X amount of time after it's requested, yet it takes SE... how long has it been since people asked/request for the male variant of the Gold Saucer rabbit gear? or how long ago SE said they had it made for Roegadyn and Lalafell males?
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
I am trying very, very hard not to think too much about the Blackblossom dress because if I do, I'm afraid I'll actually give them a legitimate reason to ban me this time. If they're really so against just giving us the straight-up dress, though, they should really at least give us a 'masculine' outfit along the same theme. I'd love a frilly Gothic-style waistcoat that matched Edda's dress, and then they could make the head/hands/feet items unisex. They wouldn't even have to give us pants to go with it, since theyclearly have no problems with male characters going pantsless, er, I mean, since they'd be barely any different from so many other samey pants models anyway.
Do we have any idea where it even comes from yet? I'm assuming cash shop, but I guess there's a slim chance it'll drop from the new PotD when it's released...
Casual Friday.

Work's been pretty rough lately, so I treated myself to a few things as a reward for still showing up every day.

I am little pissed, not that the Blackbossom dress is female exclusive (who didnt see that one comming), but that this item is going to be introduced much earlier then the Bunny Outfit for males. We have been waiting since 2015 and untill now we only have heard a: "We are working on it"from Yoshida. Reminds me alot of the other: "We are working on it"excuses that were never added to this game.
I still hope to see an outfit for the lads aswell, but FFXIV armour design team has shown that is biased and they dont care.
The outfit is probably going to be released somewhere around Halloween (fits the theme), personaly, I think its from the cash shop, since Edda is a NPC.
Here's my little story. I actually went female for like 2 months to be able to wear outfits with fishnet stockings and the Makai goth healer chest piece with chains and leather... But I couldn't stand being a female. I just can't relate to a tree branch sort of delicacy. I ended up going back to being a male Elezen. However the loss of the Makai Moonguide female chest piece pains. So does the loss of all the boots with a slight heel. Y'shtola's thighboots with the Louboutin red sole. But what can I do.. My Y'shtola and Lightning hair are also gone (funny how I was able to go around with Aymeric hair as a female). At least now I have a character that can contribute to this thread and carry on with the fight for glamour equality. Peace.
I personally would not want this type of extreme cross dressing in game.
Extreme? Everything can be adjusted a little bit to fit the opposite gender. I mean, they try to make the caster gear, as an example, unisex. But they failed. They failed even with one of the tank tomestone sets, giving them a hole in the chest area. HERE, PIERCE MY HEART. Meanwhile on a female it shows boobies, so it's fine. I think it should make us all sad how SE designs thing with only female anatomy in mind.. The only good chest piece for males atm is the butler suit. That shit is flattering.
For my part, I wouldn't crossdress and try to look like a female. I'd just like to have access to certain pieces that can be a subtle lift to any outfit. I am already glamouring the claws of the beast, so what's the matter?
At least the new Ao Dai is wearable by both genders. And its very pretty!
