In an effort to raise awareness of this issue and garner some attention from the Devs, while at the same time having a little fun, I'm going to post a screenshot a day of my (male) character in a girly glamour! Anyone who believes in this cause and likes fun is welcome to join me. Show SE that we want skirts on our gentlemen, and ladies for butlers!

All I ask is that you keep it civil, and include a screenshot in each post.

I wholeheartedly agree. In response to this, I attempted to put on a skirt and be girly. Sadly, ol' Faust is just too manly for his own good.

Even though I have since changed to a FemRoe (hairstyles, you know...) I miss my male elezen in all his glory deerly! This is what is considered his traditional outfit when attending weddings!
(I have yet to find screens of him in his Paladincess - thats Paladin+Princess - outfits again...)

Believe in the cause? Sure. I can't see any reason for the restrictions.

That said, I abhor the entire Glamour system. It has severely damaged my ability to become properly immersed in the game. There's nothing like seeing some moron bunny-hopping about town in a bikini to make me remember I'm playing a game, and one that is far goofier than I'd like.

I wonder if SE would consider an option to let us turn OFF other people's Glamours, as far as our personal view is concerned...

I'd like to start this post by saying I am not being aggressive at all.

Male and Female fashion is not equal. Even then opinions vary, eg. I do not think the outfit on the very first post is feminine at all.

The game also has a particular aesthetic that they want to maintain and I am very happy for them to keep doing that. There is of course a matter of opinion about what should or should not be gender/job locked, and this is something that developers will not be able to please everyone with; if they want to maintain their aesthetic.

On a more personal note, I am glad that Men can not wear some exceptionally feminine items (Hildibrand made it funny, Player Characters would make it cringey and frankly unsightly, please do not assume I feel this way IRL, because this is Eorzea we are talking about here).

I am also glad that male characters get access to some nice glamours like Ulfhade's Dancing Gif above, and that they are working on the Golden Saucer/Bunny set for males.

So, everyone has an ideal and where they draw the line is going to vary a lot. Because of this, I think they should just keep doing what they are doing, not because I am given access to more clothing (which is in my control because I choose to play a female) but because it is my aesthetic ideal that the Men in game look a certain way, or more accurately; don't look a certain way.
