Lv36 LTW guild quest "Head of the Class"

I know this issue was mentioned already, sadly my circumstances are different.

Head of the Class lvl 36 LTW guild quest

at the part:

Speak to Maddeline and she will ask you to craft 5 (after parley)
if player speak to the NPC again w/o have the item required to continues, the game will lock down everything but camera, you cant esc or stop talk to NPC but need to force quit and log back in

For Shneibel it may have been simple enough to restart her game, and obtain the items before trying the NPC again. Unfortunately for me, I actually DO have the popper items for completion of the quest, and it still freezes in npc-activation of the quest.

This is a rather large problem for crafters, seeing as "Clean Slate" is a major tool. I hope this is being fixed soon; at the latest in 1.20.
