How hot is too hot for your CPU/GPU?

So I just upgraded to the GTX 1080 today, and have noticed my temps on it with fan at 100% is around 70-75 Celcius.

Is that normal with this game and will it eventually mess with my card?

Also on another note whats a normal temp for the CPU?

EDIT: CPU is i5-4590 3.3ghz and I just use the case fans for cooling

It'll depend which 1080 you have and if it's overclocked or not (and what cooling system it uses), but 75 is pretty much nothing for a graphics card so don't worry about it NVIDIA's website says it can go up to 94 degrees.

As for your processor, it'll depend on what processor you have as well as what cooling system you have for it.

It really varies, the lower the better and your system will normally give you a warning as well. I would invest in a top of the line Cooling system. Here is nice link that can give you an idea,

    http://www.buildcomputers.net/cpu-temperature.html

In an ideal world you want to keep it 45-55*C degrees.

Note: in your case unless you have a nice air flow and it's cold you will be having problems in the long run.
