did I say i agree with it? it beats $7 like the emotes. Cool your jets.$3 for a consumable item for ONE character on your account is absolutely extortionate, especially when it's an item that should be included with the subscription fee you already pay to pay the game.
This is too far, SE. This mogstation update is really too far, orchestrion rolls and recolors of leveling gear at a premium for a single character, what the hell are they thinking?
noted SE used to have an NPC that re-sold old event gear while introducing new ones and in ff11 they added to the events that were popular. (like halloween had 4 mini games built over times) so don't use the "not at all" as a reason, as the sub fee did go to the making of said item. The subscription fee give you the music every year during the event if you visit the event place.
The scroll is not part of the subscription, it is a last event reward.
The option was to bring it to mog shop like with the event gears, or not at all like with the furnitures before SE brought them also to the mog shop.
I like this way actually: we already paying a sub - and please stop saying that we're entitled because of it: it's a matter of paying services rather than entitlement - but the cash shop is almost as filled as a legit f2p, except it's still a p2p game.
With this method, however, I'd be more keen on spending my "tokens" on simple stuff and if I miss a tiny bit, I could always use the additional cash for completing the purchase. I know they won't do it anyway - heck why would they when it's giving them cash? - and I wouldn't be surprised if they will start selling famous skins from other games from now on for insane prices (well let's not look to far: tidus and yuna's outfits basically cost 30 bucks, 15 each, although it was from an event).
Nostalgia sells anyway so, I don't expect them to change a single bit. If anything, I expect to get worse and worse...I'm looking at you, Final Fantasy 7 Remake!
