I have a question about the time line here regarding Yda and Lyse. If the real Yda died 6 years ago where does that put her life and death into perspective in regards to the events from 1.0 to 2.0 exactly? Was the Yda from 1.x the real Yda or not?

You'll get answers on both sides, but I don't think the game has given us any indication that we've ever seen anyone other than Lyse as Yda. The calamity was 5 years ago (yes, still; time doesn't pass in MMOs for reasons of practicality), they picked 6 years to make it explicit that it was before we ever met Yda. And the game strongly implies the actual Yda was a lot different than Lyse (all the scions immediately knew she was an impostor), and 1.0 Yda was just as ditzy and absent-minded as ever.
A bit, but more like different sides of the same coin. Gilgamesh's seriousness doesn't come across as particularly sincere, and he's also more the clumsy oaf big guy.
Gosetsu feels more like the boisterous but competent big guy - the guy that plays hard and fights hard...and one you actually want fighting by your side.
I'm disappointed overall. Not that the plot wasn't great but this was the last big send off before SB and all we got was one instanced battle (though I was watching gosetsu like a hawk to see the battle animations), some cool revelations, and one decent battle cutscene.
While watching it my first thought was "I wish I could be having that much fun right now." It wasn't a bad patch, just underwhelming.
they didn't want give much alway to you
i wonder if it be Enstien who be dragoon instructor for now on I wonder what happen to him
My guess we may not be battling Omega in the interdimensional rift raid..... at least not yet, but we might be using it to travel there, since I doubt there's any other way to get in there.
Timeline is a bit odd in FF14 because until the game actually says so, the timeline doesn't move forward. It is this weird 'time bubble'. I wish they would stick to a specific timeline for exactly this reason though.
As far as we can tell Lyse has been the Yda you have known since you meet her in 1.x, specifically I think when you first meet the Circle of Knowing when they face down Giaus. However the Yda from all the Echo visions in 1.0 was the real Yda. Yda died just prior to the calamity trying to smuggle refugees out of Ala Mhigo and the lore book mentions the Circle making such an attempt just prior to the events of 1.x in which the Garleans got wind of it and 'a lot of people died'.
We see the original Yda in echo visions and honestly its hard to tell the difference. I think the two sisters were actually pretty similar in a lot of ways. As for the Archons, its not hard that they would pick up on it. The all knew the original Yda. Y'shtola was actually a close friend. What was more surprising is that Lyse actually thought she could fool them considering she must have been quite a bit younger than her sister. Its also worth noting the original Yda was also someone who was a poor scholar but excelled in physical disciplines. You'll get answers on both sides, but I don't think the game has given us any indication that we've ever seen anyone other than Lyse as Yda. As far as the WoL goes though, they have never truly met Yda in the flesh. It as always been Lyse. The only time the WoL may have interacted with Yda was in the weird time travel echo visions from 1.0.
"Her" face is cute,all right.
