This is a reminder to everyone that wants to take a crack at Season 4, Do NOT wear Diadem gear in the feast, your stats will be heavily nerfed.

You're not my real dad!
Can you elaborate on this stat nerf?
With ilvl sync, do they nerf your stats proportionally or do they just cap at some max value?
In both cases, why won't we want to start with higher ilvl items?
When you are synched at 150 Aetherial gear secondary stats are greatly nerfed.
At 150 all gear has a hard cap in how strong they can be an example of the caps per slot is in the below image.
Lets say you had a weapon i200 that had a Critical Hit Stat that was above 56, when you enter pvp and it synchs your ilvl down it will max cap you at 56.
However Aetherial gear works differently...
lets say you won a Diadem Weapon that had critical hit above 56, when you enter a pvp zone the Critical Hit will drop all the way down to about 0-9 Critical hit (not capping at 56)

My bets are that they are gonna give us a system similar to guild wars2 for pvp soon(like in a year). You can play every class at max lvl even if you didn't level it and you don't need to equip the classes, you just get 1 gear-role piece with all the stats on it for free, these stats are always accuracy capped. The remaining points can be assigned in the remaining suitable secondary stats of each role. All other equipped items will not contribute to PvP and are there just for glamor.(If they ever want to do esports they have to do it.)
We will never have any trouble with people running in sub i130 gear again or just glamor lvl1 items, or gear with wrong main-stats, or diadem gear, or none gear because they forgot to equip it, because they changed a materia or something. The community atmosphere in PvP would be better, we wouldn't have people blaming others for their non-existing knowledge of gear requirements(they still would play bad but atleast they play bad with the right gear).
Then we get a wardrobe system just for all PvP skins, which we can unlock by using wolf marks. Existing items can be exchanged for wolf marks to unlock them in the wardrobe. This could be easier for the servers compared to individual/ personal systems. Then half a year later we get feast chat back. And finally we get feast-seasonmounts as rewards that run 10% and fly 30% faster than others. Then we unsub for next big mmorpg in 2020.
