Tanks with slaying ring

Is it the new thing for tanks to wear 1 slaying ring that has Str?
Just curious and does it make a difference in the dps department for us tanks?
Yeah i meld my acce with str xD but i kinda understand xD
Been planning on using alex 270 slaying ring but im also unsure if it affects my Vit or something since in the "norm"-way tank wear tank stuff xD

Depends on Tank , as long as they can keep enmity and decent def some use it for Critical Speed. Sometimes it worth it, in lower dungeons or waiting on higher alternated Def. ring., but endgame it's a different story.

Take the Shire ring. Honestly, the DPS increase is so slight, it's not worth giving up the 2000 HP. You'll barely notice the former, but if something goes wrong, that extra HP can be a life saver.
