Watch it in game when a dark knight applies Delirium, yes, it does override Dragon Kick. Even read the tooltips, does not stack with Dragon Kick. Exact same verbiage as Dancing Edge and Storm's Eye, and those can't both be applied to an enemy at the same time.

Of Dragon Kicks debuff is active, Deliriums debuff will not apply.
Dancing Edge and Storms Path work differently, where each override the other.
The reason is DK is more than just int down, while Delirium is just an int down. DK is more important and I'm glad it can't easily be overridden.

Here's hoping that SE's code will eventually allow for multiple shared-property debuffs to be present at the same time without stacking, especially if Delirium continues to have a longer duration than DK. Or that Delirium just gets blunt resist down as well, so that one can actually bring a Monk to a DRK-inclusive progression group.Of Dragon Kicks debuff is active, Deliriums debuff will not apply.

"Does not stack" =/= "overrides". It just means, in XIV's case, that you can't have both at the same time. (Normally it would only mean that you can only receive the benefit of either within a given shared property or effect, even if both can be present simultaneously.) In this case, the more newly applied Delirium is the one erased, because it is weaker than DK, even if DK only has .001 seconds remaining.

I used to main DRK and now play MNK/NIN as main. I've seen it personally where when I use delirium without realizing that there was a monk in the party and it removed dragon kick, ditto playing as a monk and erasing delirium applied by DRK. It's possible that's been changed in recent patches, but I'm just saying that I've seen it personally.
With the add of Jobs like Dark and all Monk lost some of it's best contributes to the party, now you fight to keep Dragon Kick on while a Dark is there. It's like most of us have been saying, anymore it just feels like Monk doesn't matter.
Well then the mnk wasnt very good seeing as they let their DK drop off long enough for you to be able to get delirium put up on the boss instead.I used to main DRK and now play MNK/NIN as main. It has never been a case where DK will be overwritten by delirium.

Sorry, but Delirium has never (and still does not) apply over Dragon Kick.I used to main DRK and now play MNK/NIN as main. I'm not sure what game you think you've been playing, but at no point in ff14 has it been possible for delirium to remove dk
Then i guess you guys haven't been paying attention while the runs were going on for these past years. Ever since Dark was added it DOES. I won't turn this into a fight the reason for this post is to bring to light Monk's short comings as of late and try to get something done in order to get them back up to snuff with the rest of the Jobs.
Currently only die heart fans play Monk, and as many have said, people even kick Monks anymore. A rework is long over due.
