Returning player trying to recover items...

So long story short; While I was away from the game for a few months I was removed by mistake from my FC for being offline longer than 90 days. After resubbed I was reinvited with out hesitation. My room is gone, oh well.. but how do I get my items back?

Only can take your item back if your room was removed not more than 35days...

Is your FC so close to the member limit they need to do this?

Even if my account was inactive??? How does that even make sense... I wouldn't even know I had to get the items back, nor would I have had a way to do so...

Unfortunately that's just how the system works. You can be kicked from a FC for any reason at all at any point in time and you only have 35 days from that point to get your items back. It'd be nice if SE sent an email (like they do warning of the housing demolition), but I guess from their point of view, they're not the ones who are doing the eviction. Sorry you lost your items though.

Not that strange I have seen quite of few FCs on my server have rules like that.

While it doesn't help with your items that were lost, you may want to look into getting an apartment if you take long breaks. They're 500,000 gil, but they don't expire and you're the only player that can decide to remove it.
