Silent chat, sleepy FC. How to connect?

So the chat is usually silent except for the occasional 'FC recruiting, join now' shouts. If you dont have a party, itll take ages to get into a dungeon, and every now and then theres that one guy who thinks everyone else sucks and just runs ahead like a headless chicken, and then complains that he got KO'd. If youre lucky to have found a nice FC, other members are usually offline. And you cant even see when your friends were last online.

So, my question is: HOW THE HECK ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH PEOPLE IF YOU SOMEHOW MANAGE TO MAKE FRIENDS???? Is it just me? Why does it seem to be such a hassle to even form a party? Or connect to others? Is it just bad luck? Or Odin just dead
It does seem like its not just Odin. Is there a more efficient way to connect with others that I just dont know of?

Ofcourse, theres sometimes these magical moments when you actually have a little chat with someone, or have the nicest party in a dungeon/guildhest.

i see everyday tones of ppl from my friendlist and LS are online and play with them together and stuff never felt bored
